Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of professional automotive repair experience

  • Experience repairing light-duty and medium-duty vehicles

  • Intermediate diagnostic experience including:

    • Check engine light diagnostics

    • Electrical system troubleshooting

    • Drivability concerns

    • Starting and charging systems

    • Engine performance diagnostics

  • Ability to independently perform:

    • Brake repairs

    • Steering and suspension repairs

    • Cooling system repairs

    • Engine and accessory replacement

    • Preventive maintenance services

    • HVAC repairs

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

  • Valid driver's license

  • Personal hand tools required

  • ASE Certifications are preferred but not required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns

  • Perform accurate vehicle inspections and testing

  • Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications

  • Test drive vehicles to verify repairs when necessary

  • Document findings and recommendations clearly

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Work collaboratively with service advisors and fellow technicians

  • Deliver repairs that meet ProTech's high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
